How does SpotBird work?
SpotBird connects to your Google Calendar and monitors for cancellations. When an appointment is cancelled, we automatically text your waitlist in priority order. The first person to reply "YES" claims the spot, and it's added to your calendar automatically.
What calendars do you support?
We currently support Google Calendar. Simply connect your account with one click, and SpotBird will start monitoring for cancellations.
How much does SpotBird cost?
SpotBird costs $15 per month with a free trial to get started. This includes unlimited waitlist contacts, unlimited SMS notifications, and all features.
How do I add contacts to my waitlist?
You can add contacts directly from your SpotBird dashboard. Just enter their name and phone number. You can also drag and drop to prioritize who gets notified first when a slot opens up.
What happens when someone claims a slot?
When a waitlist contact replies "YES" to claim an available slot, SpotBird automatically creates a new calendar event for that time slot. The contact receives a confirmation text, and the slot is marked as filled.
Can I customize the text messages?
Yes! You can customize both the offer message (sent when a slot opens) and the confirmation message (sent when someone claims a slot). Use variables to personalize messages with the contact's name and appointment details.
How do contacts opt out of messages?
Contacts can reply STOP at any time to opt out of future messages. We automatically process opt-out requests and won't send any more texts to that number.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data. We never sell or share your contact information with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
